Brian Gorsich is the founder, President, and CEO of Beat the Funk, a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit that brings people together through music, movement, and community. Living with multiple sclerosis for more than 25 years inspired Brian to turn his personal journey into a mission of hope, resilience, and service.

In 2025, he established Beat the Funk as an independent 501(c)(3) with a vision of creating a lasting movement that promotes positivity while supporting local healthcare initiatives throughout Central Illinois.

Brian believes that movement is medicine, music connects people, and together we can all Beat the Funk.
