Karen Smolczyk recently retired from a career in event planning and administrative support, where she became known for her deep commitment to serving others and bringing people together. She has served in key roles for various nonprofit fundraisers that support hope, healing and community--including Relay For Life, Walk MS and Wreaths Across America. Karen continues to share her time and talents in service to causes closest to her heart. She is a committee member of the National MS Society’s Central Illinois Community Council, an active member of Living Hope Community Church, and a proud member of the Beta Sigma Phi service sorority for over 25 years.
